Hello,
Has anyone tried to install the fring IM-client on the i8910? Since the s60 5th- version is always being referred to as "fring for Nokia 5800", it makes it look like it won't work on other devices, so I was hoping someone has tried on my awesome new phone-to-be i8910?

it came installed on my 16 GB i8910 I bought here in Norway last week
runs fine
Nimbuzz, unfortunately, doesnęt yet, waiting for the update

As above, yes, use the 5800 version of Fring - works perfectly!

I've tested the Nokia linke at Finge as you've suggested and it workes fine!!!!
As there was and still is no link on fringe to download the correct Fringe software for i8910.

As I went almost crazy, becasue I tried to download several links and installed it, but it failed all the time.
then I've followed your suggestion, anyway if it would have faild I could uninstall it again.
But now it works fine, thanks!!!
