Has anyone installed McGuider on their 5800? and if so, what's the verdict?

I very much doubt it, even if it runs, you wont be able to access most/all of the menu.

Garmin have told me they are releasing a compatible version, and although ALK havent got back to me, I would be very suprised if they didnt release one also.

Viewranger already has one out.

Tomtom have told me they are not supporting it (or any other symbian device), now or in the future.

Ive installed it and the app dosnt even load.

McGuider users can download an update from Mcguider assistant application. This update runs also on 5800.
