Hello. Could you please tell me if the P800 is really full compatible with the imode as i would like to make use of this feature to use my present subscription on the french Bouygues Telecom Network. I already have the parameters but don't really know how to make use of them.
Here are the parameters i possess
APN imode.fr IP62.201.129.241 Http port5080
Portal Bouygtel.imode.fr
mail mail.imode.fr
user/password blank (not necessary)

Thanking you in advance i remain. Arnaud DRUMETZ

Emode is just a weak HTML. You need GPRS, not emode.
Bouygues provides it, 6€ for 10 megs.

Net base price/month#price/unit#unit
d1/d2: 0,0 # 0,29 # 10kb
d1/d2: 9,95 # 0,29 # 100kb (1MB incl.)
d1/d2: 39,95 # 0,19 # 100kb (20 MB incl.)

so 1MB is around 30 Euro here in Germany without a special GPRS contract.
That's how those providers try to open new markets for mobile computing devices ;)

Imode (yes, it is Imode, not Emode) is transferred over GPRS. It's constrained in some ways, it isn't full internet. That's why I don't want it, I just want GPRS for full internet.
Cheapest GPRS in the Netherlands is O2 I think, €1.50/MB flat rate. You don't ahve to buy MB's in advance.
