There is a search function at the Standby Screen but it provides no local search to Contacts, Calendar entries, SMS, and so-on.

The "quit full-screen" icon is transparent and doesn't get in the way and the camera i cons show up better if you point the camera at something light.;) coffeecat 04-02-2009, 09:04 PM I know this is an old thread, but I must just add my voice to this. Nokia - are you listening? I am totally amazed by this omission. I was a longtime Palm user, followed by 4 long years as an Windows Mobile user (yeah, I know). I've just replaced my old WM phone with a 5800, my first ever Nokia and first ever Symbian, and mainly I'm a very happy bunny. But no local search??? If I want to search my calendar to find out what date my car insurance expires, I've got to go to MS Outlook on my PC. Surely this'll be fixed in a firmware update??? CC |
