there are no hacks for the n85 0r n96 as of yet iam sure people like binpda and dotsis are working on it so you can install any application wether its signed or not

at the moment iam using a dev cert (develepers certificate) to sign my own applications

its a bit tiresome comared to the hello carbide version etc but it works and now my unsigned applications work on my phone fine

try googling a dev cert for the n85

Getting your Dev Cert and a Signing program is the ONLY method at the moment. As the N96 / N85 and some N82 versions are un hackable.
