I downloaded the Google Maps and the file ending is sisx and when I try and install it, Nokia Application installer tells me its not supported.
I have looked at the google maps download page and it states the N96 is supported.

How else can I install this? or is there a seperate download? I have found the same with the Lightsaber application for the N95, it has the same file type and will not install.

So far I've only managed to install the Accelerator and Opera Mini.

Can anyone help installing an sisx extension on the Nokia N96? I've scoured google and it only links to the N95. Does the N96 support sisx as a file extension?

open http://m.google.com/maps with your phone's web browser and follow the Install Link .. I tested on my N85 .. so it ought to work the same on your N96 ...
