I have a little problem that seems simple but its driving me mad. I have just got a new E71 and the first time I turned it auto key locked it self. When I follow the manual to unlocking the keypad it wont work. I have pulled the battery out and replaced it and it is still locked. If someone can help me that would be much appreciated.

I was thinking of reinstalling the software and hoping that might fix it. The buttons do seem to work, it’s driving me nuts…!

Doe's anyone know how to reinstall the software?

Have you tried the keys sequence?

Press the left blue key and then the key below the "z"

but when you turn it on it's not locked... at least it should not be...

try to leave the battery out of the phone for a few minutes....

go to tools, definitions, general, security, phone and sim card, and disable the key lock

I cant even do that. As soon as the phone boots up it locks the keypad that fast I cant even press a button. Its dumb.
