How many SMS are stored in your Inbox & SentBox?

Mine 542 & 597 then throws an error Insufficient Memory, please close some applications... This also happens in my E61 & E61i, I was hoping that it would be fixed in E71, but apparently not :(

I have the same question. I have my sent capped at 250 (I think) and wish this option existed for the inbox as well. If I could cap that at 500 or something I would never have a problem again. I hate when it fills up and I start getting odd text message errors and about the only option is to mark all in the inbox and delete. The problem is that inevitably there is something I needed an hour or two after I delete all of them. Usually an address or phone number that I forgot to add to my contacts. So, to try to prevent this, I mark them all and start scrolling through to scan an make sure there's nothing that's important that I don't want to delete but man, what a PITA. If I had it capped at 500 then if 500 messages go by I would have remembered if I needed it.
