It must be nearly 6 weeks since story broke ,
so nokia have had plenty time by now to work out what the long term solution will be put in place.
If they still don't have a long term solution then this problem is not that big on their agenda and their statment was just to buy time and hope it go's away.
It's still near impossible to get them transfered by support and they said that would be short term fix.

Time might be here again where AAS/N should get back in contact and see what the big idea is
b/c next month and over next 6 months a lot of people will be upgrading phones b/c N95 is dropping in price and become affordable for many more people, and people who already have N95 will probably be upgading to N96 in 6 weeks time and other devices coming out around late summer /autumn .
It would be great to let people know where they stand and let Nokia know this will not just get swept under carpet.
So any more Info you could find out about this issue i'm sure would be very appreciated by many .

My understanding is that you can now transfer games.

Nokia said they would be introducing a permanent solution in due course,

they ALSO said that while you're waiting for the permanent solution, you can get your games transferred by contacting your local Nokia customer care support who will do the transfer manually.

So if you want to transfer your games, go to this website:

and let them know you want to do this transfer. They should be able to help you.

It must be nearly 6 weeks since story broke

Not quite, but it is coming up to a month.

We're basically giving them time to get any transfer systems into place and then we'll try transferring the games ourselves using the customer service method.

We want to give them this amount of time so that they have absolutely no excuses about having to get things ready.

We'll then do an article telling people about our experiences.
