There are 2 wad files: doom1.wad which is about 12mb big and doom3.wad which is just a bit less than a megabyte.

You have to create a 'DOOM' directory in your documents folder (it has to be on your memory stick because the phone doesn't have enough memory to hold the wad files. Then you copy the wad files into that directory.

The game is difficult to control and its hard to get used to, it's great for showing off though :).

That is not entirely correct. The doom1.wad file, shareware version, is about 4MB, and the full version: doom.wad is about 12MB.

The 'DOOM' directory will be automatically created once you start the edoom.sis file.

I have a Motorola A925, I have installed the P800 platform (i think i did that properly) and then I have ran and installed edoom. Now I am getting the error:

Program Closed
Program Main
Reason Code ECompXL
Reason number 33

I am not sure if I have put the wad files in the right directories. If anyone out there has had total success making this game work on an A925 email me at ric@perthdci.com how you did it.

THANKS

For all of you who are having PROGRAM RUNNING message displayed when trying to run the game. I had the same problem until I realized that its a simple solution creator failed to mention.
You have to make sure that BOTH Doom1.wad AND Doom3.wad are in the DOOM folder under documents either on your Stick or Phone. One can be in each, doesnt matter as long as both are present.
Sincerely,
Tim Nikolaev
