View Full Version : Which First Party classic N-Gage game should get a port or sequel on Next Gen N-Gage?
krisse 07-10-2007, 01:52 PM The first generation of N-Gage had some pretty good games released for it, particularly first party exclusive games.
Some of these have received sequels or remakes on the Next Gen N-Gage platform, for example Mile High Pinball, One, Snakes and System Rush. However, most of the first party games still have no sequels or ports.
If you could pick one First Party game from the original gen N-Gage to be on the Next Gen platform, which one would it be and why?
jojosalami 07-10-2007, 06:05 PM RIFTS FTW! palladium would die for nokia to hire them, they're not spending out of their pockets, nokia is paying them, they need money and theyll get money and nokia moves on with its exclusive line, a win-win situation

I totally, utterly 100% agree.
If Nokia bailed out Palladium they'd have the respect of the RPG community, a genre which does well in video games too.
What's more, Palladium isn't even in trouble in business terms, the only reason they're in debt is because that criminal stole so much of Palladium's money.

Tetlee 11-03-2008, 12:18 AM Pathway To Glory was an outstanding game, best handheld game ever created IMO, the sequel Ikusa Islands was also equally superb!
Would probably download both again if they port them at the right price, another sequel would be great though:cool:

The developers of PTG, RedLynx, are actually working on a new first party N-Gage game. No one is sure what it's about, but it's called "Project White Rock", and apparently it will be playable on both the N-Gage phones and on PCs.
Kazutoyo 23-03-2008, 04:28 PM I would love to see Rifts (http://www.n-gage.com/en-R1/games/gamedata/rifts.htm) or Shadowkey (http://www.n-gage.com/en-R1/games/gamedata/shadowkey.htm) ported to the new N-Gage. With Shadowkey they could also fix the framerate issue and give it a better ingame map and so on.
And that Nokia 6220 Classic got N-Gage

Yup, Rifts especially as it's something that only the original N-Gage had, and the game got such good reviews that it's a real shame for it to be buried away in the mists of time.
What's more, the company that makes the paper RPG Rifts is in financial difficulties and it would be wonderful if Nokia could help them out by re-releasing the N-Gage game.

Definitely!
N-Gage on 6220 would be excellent, and it would be nice to see it on the 6120 too.
skywish 07-05-2008, 06:22 PM if nokia doesnt make PTG Sequal for next gen then n-gage will be died soon.

It's not quite a sequel, but Nokia are making a weird new strategy game called Reset Generation with RedLynx, the developers of Pathway To Glory:
