Help Please!

I have a Vodafone UK Z8 and I have received the unlock code. However there doesn't seem to be aby way to input the code. When you boot with a non Voda SIM card an error comes up "Warning Subsidy Lock is Enabled" but the only option is Continue, and the phone won't accept any numeric input except for the emercency numbers.

Does anyone know the correct process for inputting the code on this model?

to unlock the phone press **057* and a box will pop up requesting the unlock code.

Out of interest how did you get the unlock code?

Voda made a mess of porting my number, and instead of phoning me to tell me there was an issue with the code they let me contact them the day after it was supposed to port to find out. So it's now not due to go until next Monday and my Vario's battery life is no longer enough to last a day so I've had to re-employ the n-gage for the next week, but would love to start using the Z8 in anger.

i got the code both from vodafone (£20) and also from gsmphonesource ($15). and the **057* command works...thanks!
