If you mean just the keypad yes. It just peels off the double sided tape. The new keypads sometimes come with a new double sided tape so... The tape is very very good and I reused mine without a problem. The new keypad is 10 times better than the OE one. I ordered 3 just in case they failed quickly.


If you mean the metal piece then... It comes off after you take the screws out from inside and then you can use a guitar pic that has been thinned down to release the clips between the metal and plastic. The metal will typically not survive without bends in it.
