You can create folders to your heart's content with the File Manager. However, the Gallery app will happily ignore all those.

i'm pretty gutted the phone does that... I can't let people view my gallery due to the nudity of my girlfriend :( I suppose i'll have to transfer them to my computer, time-consumin but....

I have a perfect tip for you! Get hold of Y-Browser (freeware from here: http://www.pushl.com/y_browser/)

This is a file browser and you can use it to navigate to either images folder, C (internal mem) or E (mem card). From there you can set the file attributes to hidden. This will prevent them from showing up in the gallery application but you can view them by using y-browser.
If you want extra protection, use y-browser to create a folder somewhere else on the file system to keep the 'dodgy' photos. No-one is likely to even fire up y-browser on your phone and even if they do they are very unlikely to find them!

An alternative is to use the supplied Zip Manager and stick all those "artfull" pictures into a zip file. Gallery will never find them(provided you delete the originals after you move them to the zip) but you can still view them from within the Zip file.

I find Zips really slow to work with though, and if someone is TRYING to find dodgy stuff they will look in them

Thanks for the advice! Is everyone aware of the 'Log'? It also stores incoming and outgoing messages which my girlfriend picked up on... that couldve got me in some trouble :S

The log only stores calls:
Go to settings > Applications > Log and change the log time from 30 days to less or 'no log'

If you are seeing messages I think you are talking about LifeBlog, thats just an application which you can uninstall.

Ah, thanks for the advice again. Knowing how to get rid of messages etc and storing private photos... is it all learnt from experience? lol.

Storing private photos and videos, yes. Deleting texts etc isn't a problem as I don't cheat on my girlfriend

Texting another girl doesn't necessarily mean your cheating.

Hey, I'm not accusing anyone of anything, it's none of my business

If you have videos or pictures that you don't want to be visible in the gallery just move them from the "Images" or "Videos" folders to the "My Videos" folder and they wont show up in the gallery. Then just access them via the "File Manager".

Ironically, that means the only means you'll have of seeing her without clothes for a while is on your phone
