Does anyone know if when you have the GPS enabled and take a photograph, it's possible to tag (EXIF) the photo with the GPS co-ordinates, like some posh top end camera can?
If not do you think it would be possible for 3rd party s/w to introduce this feature?
I hope it can, it should be able to, it would be an excellent feature.
Many thanks :)
There is software for that, at least on S60v2 devices. See on software section of this site if already has for S60v3 devices.

I believe this has been answered before. There is an app called Shozu which records the GPS data and allows you to upload straight to the web.

Thanks, is Shozu the same software you were referring to nj7?

Shozu don't yet support the N95, or at least that's what their website says. I've yet to try it again but I have Viewranger and it records GPS position for POIs with pictures. I'm not sure if the picture is embedded with this info or whether another file is created. I do know, as an aside, that when you shrink a pic the EXIF info gets stripped, and as all my pics for POIs have been shrunk, there is no GPS info in them, just in the POI info. I'll investigate further.
Works perfectly well with Shozu. I take pictures with my N95 (make sure to keep the GPS Data application on in the background) and upload them from Shozu to my Flickr or Picasa account. All done within a minute!
Its a fantastic way of letting your loved ones know where you've been :) Another cool app i like is MGmaps which can actually track where you're N95 is via the WWW.
