i was under the impression that the n95 had around 160mb of internal memory.

i keep getting a message up saying memory full and to delete some stuff.

I only have a few pics and some video clips and when i add the file sizes up it onlt comes to about 80mb.

now i know that some is taken up with all the bits and bobs on there but where the hell is the rest of it gone?

is there any way on the phone i can check what is using what?

I would also be very interested to hear more on this. I have had the same problem and I have a 2Gb memory card installed, so the phone should have access to most if not all of it's internal memory.

The easiest way to check things is to install PC Suite and have a look at the phone's memory through the File Manager portion.

One thing that can full up your memory is captured video and images. Make sure you have these set to use the memory card. This also applies to Video Center.

well at the moment i am only using the phone memory as i am waiting for my ultra 2 card to arrive

Use the phone memory only for contacts, calendar and messages, nothing more.
Wait for the card, and after that you can take photos and videos.

mine did that till i got my memory card also found phone a lot more stable with all photos videos messeges on memory card
