Please forgive me if this has already been asked but a search failed to find any info.
Does anyone know if the P990i is AVRCP compatible?

I used to have the same feeling when I asked about A2DP support for my N73ME. No one answer too. After that I have searched about that here and found ton of articles about this issue. May be people really tried what it is going on in marketing of mobile phone business.

I'll try to get hold of a P990 in the next few days and test if there's any AVRCP support

Nokia N73ME does not have support for A2DP profile

Hi Superswede,
I actually have a P990i but the user manual does not mention anything about AVRCP.
I have also searched Sony Ericssons website and searched Google but have drawn a blank.
I know its A2DP compatible but unsure about AVRCP.
I would very much appreciate it if you would let me know your findings if you should manage to get hold of a P990i.

I didn't manage to get hold of P990i, but I contacted SE and they confirmed that it does NOT have support for Audio/Video Remote Control Profile.
