I have a N73 on o2. I cant no matter how I try remove the o2 bubbles welcome logo that appears just after the nokia "hands" after switch on. Nor can I remove the o2 bubbles that come on just before going into power save mode.


Is there any way??

If you update the firmware to the newest one it gets rid of the O2 screensaver. But now my phone only goes to the time...

i read on the nokia forums though that o2 hasnt got authority for the newer software version?

You can't remove the initial O2 bubble when powering up but you can remove the screensaver. Go to whichever theme you have activated and in the themes list click 'edit' - then change the screensaver to one in the list. There are usually only 3 options - off, date and time & your network screensaver. Am I the only person who actually likes the O2 branding? It's by far the best.
