is there anyway when you have loads of messages in you inbox to delete them all at once, instead of one by one cant seem to find an option for this.

Menu - Messages - Option - Mark/Unmark - Mark All - Delete

Or if you want to only delete a few you can hold down the pencil key and mark with up/down on the joystick - This works on all S60 Symbian phones and in all functions - ie contacts, galleery, messages etc :)
