Hi, just got an N73 and updated it with the last firmwarewhich included the new music player format. the trouble is, the phone doesn't ring for an incoming call if the music player is paused, only the vibration works. I do get a beep for messages. I spoke to someone at carphone warehouse who said that it was a battery saving device!! Is this true and are there any solutions?
Many thanks.

Is your ringtone stored on your memory card? It probably doesn't play because the music player is already accessing the memory card.

If so move it to your phone's memory and then go to your profile and select the phone memory version of your ringtone and it should work ok.

I installed 4.0736.3.2.1 and it works well. I haven't encountered any major issues yet but I don't really use many of the features anyway. The last version had lots of memory leaks - I've yet to see if this is the same.

I see Nokia Maps also.

I upgraded my n73 firmware to this and found that my A2DP support for my bh-501 headset has become buggy. For some audio files (mainly music) I get crystal clear stereo, however for other audio files (podcasts) I get crappy crackly mono audio. It's not for all podcasts, just some. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?

The new firmware has faster menus .

BUT WILL SOMEONE PLEASE DO SOMETHING
about the blue haze that keeps popping up when recording video ?
It has a red haze and suddently , from nowhere , and perhaps because of some ray of light it changes to blue and stays that way . The video quality is thus very very poor and bad .

I am talking about recording in a low light enviroment . .

And also when recording , too much light changes the sensor? and the image gets dark , move the camera like 30 cm down where the light is .. lighter and the image will be clearer . . . that`s annoying.

Compared to the N72 video quality in low light condition the n73 has that damn blue haze that keeps sticking to every new firmware that gets released .

Hello from a newbie!:icon14:
I've been using a BT-GPS8 JENTRO gps receiver with my N&3 for a while with great success.
I upgraded the firmware on my phone yesterday:
v 4.0736.3.2.1 04-09-2007 RM-133
and now cannot connect to the gps.
TomTom keeps saying connecting, even though the phone is already successfully paired with the gps.
I've had a look through the forum and have seen a couple of suggestions about changing the model number through NSS, to then get different firmware.
I've tried this, but NSU just tells me I've got the latest firmware.
Can anyone suggest a solution? - I don't really want to fork out again for a different GPS receiver.
Is this problem likely to be addressed in Nokia's next firmware update?
Thanks for reading this, and for all yout help!

Its probably the original source - I've had a few podcasts that are of low/mono quality.

But the rest were all perfect; may scout around for another A2DP headset after the debacle that was the Moto S9 (great sound quality, but lousy reliability).

Nokia N73
Firmware v 4.0736.3.2.1 04-09-2007 RM-13

I also having trouble with the contact name.

I stored new number, when I making call/received call/received SMS, it doesn't show the contact name but only the number. I've deleted all contact at SIM card, also delete contact that have same first AND last name (e.g. "John Howard") but not contact that have same first OR last name (e.g. "John Howard" and "John Bush"). It very inconvenience because I don't know from who the number is.

Greetings all - Just made the move from SE to Nokia, and let me tell you that I love my N73 ME, but it is much slower than my SE W810. Anyhow, got a question.

My phone came with the following FW:
Firmware v 4.0736.3.2.1 04-09-2007 RM-133

When I try updated it says I'm on the latest... What does the RM- mean? I see other N73's with the same FW but with different RM- values.

thanks.

Well i believe RM-132 is for south America, like Brazil or something...and RM-133 is for any other places like europe, africa, asia...no? I guess it has something to do with the difference of networks between countries...

No one else seems to have this? i did firmware update in dec, possibly first few days of jan.
Could i possibly have one of those temp firmewares- the ones they bring out, realise full of bugs and pull within days?

anyways it seems more stable than all previous ones ive had and the music player is much better too.

shame camera is still soooo slow and gallery STILL shows every damn picture. why cant it file things per folder like the good old days??!?

I have an N73 (product code: 0541044) and the Nokia Software Updater will only allow me to upgrade to 3.0704.1.0.1 (which I have done).

However, I have a lovely A2DP headset I want to use... Is there any way of taking a risk and upgrading the firmware regardless?

Update: Did some more browsing of the forum and the product code is changed... Wish me luck on the upgrade!

I have this firmware as well.

I have been having issues with the camera since upgrading. The application doesn't always seem to open correctly. Sometimes when I snap open the lens cover, it goes to a menu, or a previously opened program.

Is there a way to reload the base operating system?

Can you tell me, with this firmware (which obviosuly Nokia released and then pulled due to various issues), does that annoying flashing curser still appear next to the call bubble when making or receiving a call on the phone?

I'm on v3.0705.1.0.31 and I've had issues with the alarm clock not working as it should when the phone is off. I'd like to upgrade to resolve it but the flashing curser annoys me somewhat so would prefer to stick with my present s/w in lieu of this.

The new firmware is undeniably faster :)

I have 17mb free RAM unlike my old FW where I had 15mb

Its overall a lot smoother :)

BUT if you dont like your camera making noise when a photo is taken do not upgrade, because you can NOT turn it off with this firmware.

Dear all,
I just updated my N73 Black edition
V3.06 RM 133 (India) to V 4.07
Here are a my experiences-

Imporverments Noticed!--

1. RAM management is better, Sometimes keeps terminating Apps in background; But Much better better than before no Doubt ! :)

2.All photos now zoom upto 800 %, Zoom is smoother and stable.

3. Whole gallery feels much faster

4. Camera startup is much faster and Stable too! Flat in 4 seconds, 6 seconds first shot to be exact!

5. 19 MB free ram on BOOT.

6. Low light images far better. Just use 'night potrait' mode

Actually, Whole phone is Pleasingly faster and stable!

Annoyances/ Bugs left out in this Firmware- (Nokia ! Please listen Carefully!)-

1. I read somwhere on the internet that this Firmware brings Search 4.0. However what I got was a very stupid Web search! I un-installed this app instantly as its pretty useless.I downloaded the Search 4.0 from nokia site, but it threw up and Incompatiblity error.

3. There is High-pitched whine (Whistle like) when Mobile is connected to my 8 Channel speaker using 3.5mm Jack. This is simply disgusting!

4.The uninstall links for ALL apps and THEMES on the memort card are gone! its so difficult to un-install those themes now!

6. I've lost quite a few Apps that were installed. Thebackup coul'dnt restore them.

7. there is a slight diffrence between Autofocus sound and actual focus.
Similarly, there is disparency between Actual shutter release and Shutter sound.Sound comes before action. This problem was not present on older firmware.

8. The RAM still leaks a lot. It falls down to 8~9 MB after using a few apps and quitting them.

9.Sequence mode is still useless. It takes random number of shots and shuts down.

10.large Images sometimes do not load in gallery, A small red cross appears instead.

11.More noise in viewfinder, Final results are better tough.

12.Graphic Equalizer messed up. All presets are shown as 'Flats' no matter what the effect.

World-known (in)Famous stupidities by nokia-

One minute time limit for audio recording

One hour Video recorder limit no matter free space.

Unable to use LED light as torch (Oh come on!)

(Horror! Horror!)
Unable to share .sis , .jar, Ringtones and Music(Mp3 and WAV) through bluetooth!
And yes, Nokia still has the tag 'Connecting people' and 'Sharing redifined!'
Heck ! I can't even send some of my tones to my friend! Very GOOD Dear nokia ! (Pun Explicitly intednded!)

Ok I have solved the problem I metioned before! For shuffle:

1) Open the music player
2) Select Artists
3) Select the Bands name
4) Play one of the songs
5) Choose 'options'
6) Shuffle 'on'
7) Close the music player

Very long way to do it but it works and makes all playlists play in a random ord

Upgraded mine to 4.0747.31.0.1 last night mainly cos I was interested in getting more free RAM.
I ended up with 20MB free instead of 15MB.
Certainly speeded the phone up.

Reinstalled all apps I had from the PC Suite backup, bar one; Slick messenger which was no problem to reinstall.

It's not an ME firmware upgrade though because the multimedia key is back now, replacing the dedicated Music Key from the diamond.
Accordingly Stave and Waveform themes have gone.

Fonts are bigger/blockier than previous too but overall I'm happy wth more RAM and quicker SMS/Contacts/Camera/Gallery access times

Cursor still flashing in call box which has never bothered me as the phone is against your ear when you're calling :)

Hi Texx,
What product code is 0542531? I currently have 0527009, are they compatible? Thanks!

The 0542531 product code is an Asian/English one I think. As someone else mentioned, it gives you a Chinese/English dictionary application. But everything is in English and there are no problems there.

I also like the new slightly bigger font, although the web font is slightly smaller than before.

All you need to do is use NSS to change the product code of your phone then use Nokia Software Updater to get the new firmware. Enjoy! :)

AGREE 100% - My RAM never goes below 18mb no matter how many apps are open, a definite massive improvement... Pictures still look blue-ish, not very good... in fact, my old Sony Ericsson W810 (2MP) took nicer pictures..

This FW has NOT caused me ANY issues, no resets no nothing.. no sure why Nokia pulled it.. Ohh, the only bug I've seen is that my new Equalizer preset changes on it's own.. maybe Nokia thought this gremlin to be bad enough to yank?? ;->

i have updated to this firmware.. yes, an improvement from previous fw on the RAM .. but the memory still leaks especially you open the gallery .. it sucks every ram you have each time you browse... and it wont restore back the memory..
so my problem would be with this new fw is the memory leak issue... sometimes had to restart my phone just to play some games that needed high ram... hahaha..

Ive still got the pre-pulled version of this, but from hat ive read they just boughtout the same version again. im tempted to re-install just incase there is a difference.

however i have to advise you all- NOKIA HAVE A LOG OF EVERY FIRMWARE DOWNLOAD AND EVERY PRODUCTCODE DOWNLOAD USED, WITH DATES AND TIMES.

So yes, they can see every time you have changed your product code to change firmware.

Now be carefull with this, cod depentant on the country- this may or may not affect your warranty. Also if you change product code to a different MODEL (ie me to ie version etc) this will most likely invalid your warranty (where as just changing product code to differnt reagion wont).

Anyways anyone tell me the region code for the 4.08 firmware and any improvements and bugs?

Hello all!
I just stumbled upon a disgusting drawback of N73 Black firmware V4.07!

You LOOSE your ability to download !!!:icon13:
Yeah! you heard righ!

I've downloaded Files As large as 60 MB on EDGE using my N73 with V3.06 firmware! This is A Huge step back!:frown:
'
Oh Boy I am really angry!

I've paid bucks for One year EDGE contract and its all going down the drain!

This stupid:icon13: firmware silently dowloands the whole file (takes hours on EDGE) and throws a Frustratin error in the end! - Unknown file format!! DAmm ! And EDGE is expensive you know!

Nokia is really disheartening! if already big list of annoyances were not enough, here comes one again! Ohh!!

I bet my next phone will be an SE or some Windows powered device!

What A FOOL NOKIA is ! They are reducing convininece in new updates!

NEVER buy NOKIA AGAIN! :icon13::mad::icon4:

Dear,`
i agree, there are browsers available that allow to download stuff.opera is one of the best, but its commercial.`
what i wanted to say is that nokia does not live up to its claims.
'connecting people'
'sharing re defined'
'full web experience' are far from reality.

any web browser cannot be called complete if it can't even download simple files. S60 browser- the best mobile experience you say ? If i can't even download a simple freeware then its all useless.
3rd party will do the things for sure.
But will you pay extra for tyres when buying a car? Sure-alloy wheels will be extra, but the car atleast comes with pretty good wheels that get the work done!

what drove me mad that it was possibe to download using old firmware, but this 'update' actually took away the function!

I understand that you'd be annoyed that the default browser doesn't work because clearly it should.

However you can get Opera Mini for free (not Opera Mobile that only offers you a free trial) so although it is extra hassle having to install it, it isn't extra money.

Dear thanks for the suggesting,
But I've been using Opera Mini :icon14: since as long as I remember!
It beats the hell out of Nokia in-built browser!

:frown: The only shortcoming is that Opera mini does not support downlads. Instead it re-directs to Nokia broweser. This methodology worked well with Old firmware. The Nokia browser downloaded the file and offered me to save it.

But now,It throws up an error 'unsupported file format' upon completion.
Even the newer FP1 browsers can't download (I own 5700 too)

132 is regular n73,while 133 is black one

it's not like that actually...
it's about the region..

when you have 132 for your phone, most likely you wont be able to use 3G .. it's usually the product code for some countries that does not have 3G coverage .. and if your phone use that 132 firmware, then you wont be able to use 3G even if you're in a country that have 3G coverage.. i think they only support EDGE or something lower i guess..

go for 133, my suggestion

when you have 132 for your phone, most likely you wont be able to use 3G .. it's usually the product code for some countries that does not have 3G coverage .. and if your phone use that 132 firmware, then you wont be able to use 3G even if you're in a country that have 3G coverage.. i think they only support EDGE or something lower i guess..

go for 133, my suggestion

dear,
i own a black n73 which is rm133`
quite a few of my friends own regular n73(silver,plum;red,white versions)`
they all are rm 132
there is nothing about the 3g issue here.all n73s support 3g . We are indians and 3g networks are not yet available.but n73s irrespective of their firmware, fully supports 3g

please confirm the facts before posting, you better not confuse these noobs here.

i didnt say n73 didnt support 3g...
it's just that the product code determine the software capability
it's like 132 is unregistered to use the 3g by default..and often seen within phone in the countries that didnt use 3g widely..

From what sources did you get all tihs? I feel that those sorces are Un-reliable.
There's no catch about the 3G here with N73 nor the software optimizations.

The only diffrence is Music edition (Black) or not.
My uncle happens to be a Cellphone dealer, so I hope the confusion ends here........

Yes,the base hardware is same.
Some people have easily flashed regular Silver N73s with Music Firmware.
RM-133 is music firmware, and also compatiable with regualr N73

@BHVM

well i happen to have N73-5 RM 132 and i got comfirmed by Nokia itself that it does not support 3G/WCDMA. here is the Nokia mail pasted for ur info.

"Dear Mr. Kakad,

Thank you for e-mailing Nokia Care.

This e-mail is in reference to the phone software of Nokia N73. . We regret the inconvenience caused due to misinformation provided in our previous mail. We would like to inform you that RM-132 phone type is meant only for India.

Further, you may kindly note that N73 with phone type RM-132 does not support WCDMA.

For further enquiries, please feel free to contact our Technical Support blah blah blah"

Nokia is not in postition to tell me if they can replace my handset with a RM 133 one.

Now my que is will i be able to convert my RM 132 handset to Rm 133 version ???

Please note, there is a PHONE ISSUES & PROBLEMS thread going.
There's also a thread for PRODUCT CODES & what it supports, etc.

This thread was intended to keep track of new firmware releases & possible bugs in new releases. NOT a forum for discussing phone capabilities, etc.

It's rather annoying going through pages of who thinks what, just to see if new firmware has been released.

I happened to be one of the poor victims of 4.0750 (pulled shortly after release), which makes restoring phone backups impossible, amongst other things.

So everytime I get an e-mail that there's been a new post to this thread, I get very excited, thinking that new firmware has been released.

Thanks guys. Don't want to moan, but sure some of you will agree with me.

Cheers

O ho!
so its Nokia behind the conspirancy here!
They keep boasting about the 'excellent' 3G capacities on N73 in general!
Its nowhere mentioned by them that RM132 was a Non 3g one!
What made me more angry that even dealers(My uncle) was too unaware of the catch. The specs for 'ALL' N73 are same except for Firmware,Color and package accessories.

And if Rm132 does not have 3G, Whats the front facing camera for? Just to pee on it!?

damm! I HATE YOU NOKIA! Nokia is a CHEAT!

Maybe they should change their name to something like...
BOKIA- Disconnecting People.

I agree with ouq77.This thread is only for discussing about new firmwares and sorry if I am replying here.

I have figured out a way to convert the N73-5 RM-132 which is a Non-3G variant to N73-1 RM-133.

Visit the thread below:

Please stop replying to this thread if you are a N73-5 RM-132 owner and cannot see the UMTS and Dual band options in Network menu. This problem is now fixed by me.

This new firmware (4.0812.4.0.1) sucks, before (w/ 4.0735.3.0.2) after startup i had 20 to 21MB free ram and settled down to 13 or so, now it starts off at under 17 and settles at 8. Wouldn't mind as much if the performance increased too but it's hardly noticeable. No point in being able to run multiple apps if it just closes them in the background without warning!
PS: 4.0812.4.0.1 was released 21-03-2008

Hmmm... not sure there. My multi tasks fine all the time. no need for re-boot. but i do reboot my phone about once every 3 days anyway. Kepps it lasting longer.

However- i have just upgraded firmware on n95 from orange branded v13.0.0.4 to generic v21.0.0.x and not my n95 is running sluggish where before it was instant. so dunno, maybe strange things going on.

By the way, i found that LIFEBLOG, even if you have never used it, causes huge memory consumptio. Dunno why, but the lifeblog hiddem log (y-browser) randomly takes up huge c drive memory which cant be deleted easily (as it says always in use). However i never have ram memory leak problems.

and yes, If you have SHOZU, Even this naughty apps loads at startup and silently runs in background unknowingly!

I perhaps foolishly updated the firmware on my N73 to v4.0735.3.0.3 RM-133
Indeed everything on the phone runs faster now. However it is now impossible to use Bluetooth to a MacBookPro as the phone will no longer pair with a macintosh. It will par with a normal windows machine.

Since the effect took place immediately after the firmware upgrade was performed, and everything was fine before this, my assumption was that this was a Nokia issue.

Having spent a considerable time negotiating with Nokia Support who's initial stance was to just pivot to "take it up with apple".
I had to invoke an internal relationship as I work for Vodafone and asked is it Nokia's official position that they are no longer interested in supporting Macintosh users?

Here is their reply:
"Thank you for contacting Nokia Care
The software update for the N73 involved a change of BT profile. The profile was upgrade from a 1.2 to a 2.0 profile.
And yes this is a Mac problem, as Mac is aware of this and is the responsible party for developping the ISync.

The compatibility charts for ISync on the Nokia site is given by Mac, as you might have noticed the Isync download is / was even removed. The company policy of Mac is to let no tirth party develop software, and take as well full responsability for it."

The only reason iSync does not work is that the Buetooth layer will connect but not pair. Nokia blames Apple & Apple blames Nokia. If anyone from Nokia is reading this the only software change was a nokia firmware update, nothing on the Mac which was previously working fine has changed... So anyone using a Macintosh who needs bluetooth and is considering a Nokia should probably consider another handset manufacturer, because neither company is in a hurry to fix this.

Dear Forum,

As for as i know, we have type of phones Generic phones and Network (Service provided by operators)... For Generic phones, kindly check for latest availabiltiy from the respective Nokia sites nokia.co.in for India ... With the help of your product code you can check for the latest firmware available using Nokia Site (nokia software updater).... For Network phones, eventhough latest firmwares may be available for your model worldwide, it is your service provider has to decide which firmware to be given to your model...So in case of network enabled handsets, firmware availability its purely dependent on Network Opertor.... In case of Generic phone, its better you can check with respective nokia sites of your respective countries as i said earlier.... If you have installed Nokia PC Suite and if you have internet connection, whenever a firmware is available for the connected phone (Generic phone), Nokia PC Suite will pop-up a message stating that a new firwmare is available to the connected phone.... This is what i know .... Forum Correct me if i am wrong :icon14: Dont  be :)

Yes, you can update your firmware. Instructions posted earlier in this thread. You need to change your product code using NSS, backup your phone contents using Nokia PC Suite, then use Nokia Software Updater to download and install the new firmware.

Pretty painless process and easy to do. Just make sure you backup because firmware updates wipe your phone clean.

Good luck and let us know how you go.

:icon13::icon13:Hola amigos,
I just upgraded my N73 Back edition (india) to V4.0812.4.2.1 ; Up from previous V 4.0736x.
it took 2.5 Hrs to download and 17 Mins to flash on my 2mBit connection,Dammit nokia severs.

Here is my experience-
The good-
1.Whole phone feels pleasingly faster,I do not know if thats due to firmware optimization, or merely due to Fresh Hard flash of new OS.

2. Equaliser bug is gone!

3.Low light mode pics (Night potrait mode) are better!:icon14:

4.Some Stuipd TV app came along (useless in india)

The BAD:icon13:

1 Autofocus lock and Sound disparity Still exists

2. Lost many installed apps like Ybrowser,Ccalc,Task spy,Rotate me!
Oh oH!! these are a pain in the A$$ to get signed from symbian and install again!!:o:mad:

3.The RAM still leaks a lot. It falls down to 8~9 MB after using a few apps and quitting them. The joy of 17 Mb ram on BOOT is short-lived:icon13:

4..Sequence mode is still useless. It takes random number of shots and shuts down

5.Unable to use LED light as torch (Oh come on!)

6.Unable to share .sis , .jar, Ringtones and Music(Mp3 and WAV) through bluetooth!
And yes, Nokia still has the tag 'Connecting people' and 'Sharing redifined!'
Heck ! I can't even send some of my tones to my friend! Very GOOD Dear nokia ! (Pun Explicitly intednded!) SHIT! (this bug is nothing new!)

"Some Stuipd TV app came along (useless in india)"
Thats what happens when you use a product code not meant for india.

"Lost many installed apps"
Its a fresh install !! you think you would have anything on a fresh install?? i would be more annoyed if i had a bug, and did a fresh install to get rid of the bug but the bug was still there cos nokia decided to keep user applications to save then the hassle or re-installing.
Do you ever have apps staying on computer when you re-install windows???!

"Unable to share .sis , .jar, Ringtones and Music(Mp3 and WAV) through bluetooth!"
Now as much as i dont like not being able to share, i think its pretty obvious why they do this. i mean if you want to steal something from a shop, dont complain that they make it hard by putting secutiry tags on everything!! Duh!

Next time keep it to realistic and factual information to help the users.

Thanks

Hi - I can't answer your question, but I'd like add to it. My N73 (RM-133 (in the UK)), firmware 4.0726.2.0.1. I've got TT Nav6 loaded on a 2Gig card, it pairs ok with either of my BT-77 receiver's. It will then install right up to showing the Blue graphic of an approximate home location (about 2 miles away). I then get in the bottom left screen box 'connecting to a GPS device....'. That's it, as said I've tried both my GPS receiver's (both receiver's work fully with my old Nokia 6600 and my Axim X51v, both running TT Nav5). Got a feeling it's a firmware issue - any help would be appreciated........Thanks

Well i believe RM-132 is for south America, like Brazil or something...and RM-133 is for any other places like europe, africa, asia...no? I guess it has something to do with the difference of networks between countries... This reply is kinda 6 pages late so somebody else might've already posted it but RM-133 is Australia (I've got a N73, Optus branded:frown: and it's RM-133

They probably found a workaround...But I don't believe.
New Fw is not hackable as hard as you might try.

BTW, no point in upgrading...I provide NO improvements:icon13:

men,
NOKIA uses Different product codes for each Region (eg. India,China,Europe,Spain etc...)
keeping the FW version same, its very much possible that nokia is still discriminating among regions here.

I've heard that there are some regions where Nokia allows Turning Shutter sond off and such.

BTW,even a simple format will make your phone faster and pleasing to use.So a fresh firmware install may feel faster, even if it is'nt
So maybe...thats all i can say.

I thought I shot myself in the foot by jumping in on this latest firmware update. Soon after it was loaded my battery read half gone (it was full prior to updating). After that I could literally watch the batteries drain. Crap. Almost dead, I recharged it for a while, it drained soon after.

I figured that maybe it was a coincidence and my battery just happened to fail right after the update. So I got out my extra battery and charger and got them ready.

This morning though, after a full night charge, all is well. I've been using it all morning and it hasn't dropped below full.

Other positive things I've noticed:

I haven't recieved a memory full error when opening web pages *yet*.

The camera starts up every time I have tried it. Sometimes in the past, the camera function wouldn't start and I would have to restart the phone in order to get it going again. The camera even worked after playing a game, surfing the net and using Y-Browser, where in the past, doing just one of these functions would result in me having to restart the device.

The gallery seems like the same speed it was before.

Programs are starting faster, and tooling around internal device functions seem to be quicker.

I don't have any hacks on my phone, so no comments there.

I've read that it isn't hackable, but thats patently untrue, as my rather ancient N73 goes to show ;)

"Power User"? Why do you need to install unsigned applications? i can only think of one possible use, and that involves copying of software.

guys firmware 4.0839.42.2.1 for n73 is hackable but you have to use the one from drakkarius. It's a lot better than the last one I think because i noticed it's much faster. After restart RAM is as 20 mb which is good, still, it would be much better if nokia freed even more RAM since we can install programs in the E: drive anyway.

MacBookPro 15" Mac OS X (10.5.4)

N73 was working perfect with iSync, did the update ON THE N73 ONLY and it stoped working. IT'S A NOKIA PROBLEM ! ! ! ! Nokia sent me an e-mail where I was informed that a plug-in from the europe site was needed and that I should install it in my mac. Looked for the plug in in the link that they sent me and guess what. No plug-in exists for the N73.

Nokia, I'm waiting for the N97 to come out, this would be my 7th nokia phone, but if I´m not able to sync my N73 I WILL NOT BUY THE N97. I will not buy a product that could give me problems on working with my Mac. You say it's a mac problem, well explain why this started to happen just after the update on the N73.

Mac users, be aware of this problem please!! I also found this issue in a mac forum and in Nokia´s forum. No solution has been found in any of these forums.

Hi guyz,
I am new to this forum and please bear my english also.
I have some problems with my N73 ME.

1. Now a days, it is showing me " Memory Low " msg, though I have 2 GB MMC (350 MB Free space) and have nothing else installed on my phone memory (s/w, games, theams etc.).

2. When I restart my phone the message disappears for 2 - 3 min but again comes.

3. When I restart the phone, it shows " installing " msg (dont know what it installs) and after some time a message comes saying " instalation failed. please install from Application Manager "

4. Dont get alert when a message comes, neither vibrate nor message tone.
Also the performance of my phone is not so good as it was when i bought it 2 years back.

I showed my phone in Nokia Care Center and they charged me heavily. For some days, it worked fine but again same things are happening.

Any help guyzz ???
