Under a list of item like in contacts and messages, we can mark/unmark an item by using the options menu. This is quite troublesome way if I wanted to mark/unmark more then one item but not all. One shortcut that I found using the keyboard is by using the shift key and joystick to mar/unmark multiple items, but I haven’t found any shortcut for just mark/unmark a single item. Anyone knows the shortcut?

Surely one would just execute the shift-joystick once, highlighting the single item in question and not on multiple items, no? Or have I misunderstood?

Awww.. I found it!!! Well what I did is press the shift key and move the joytstick up and down, so as a result two items is mark/unmark immediately, that’s why I was wondering on how to mark/unmark one item. But Tim, after reading your reply I tried pressing the shift key and pressing the joystick (not moving it up/down)… finally only one item is marked… GREAT!!!… You gave me an inspiration to do so and I’m just clumsy enough not to try that at the first place hahahaha…. Well I did try pressing the shift key only last time, without combination of the joystick and it didn’t work, that’s why I’m so confuse…
Thanks, this makes my life easier ;)
Does everyone know about this shortcut? Just wondering though…

I knew about the shift and move joystick, but thanks for the tip on the shift press joystick. I was really annoyed I could only select multiple messages with a shortcut, but not a single one.
Also, is it just me or is the scrolling when reading a message in the mail client really annoying? I wish it would only go line at a time instead of a whole page with only one previous line. It's very difficult to follow. Anyone know if there is a way to adjust the scrolling?

I can't find a way to change that scrolling, so it looks like we're stuck with it. No doubt one of the improvements due along with a firmware update.
I'm more irritated by the navigation using Web. At first I though it was quite innovative and clever but the more I use it the less I like it and have been using a Series 80 machine for that purpose with its nice wide screen. I find the cursor arrangements far superior on that.
