I installed the E series Email/ActiveSync software as soon as I'd heard about it and notice that the new version (1.2.13) appears to fix the issue that you couldn't actually open an email on the N80.
However - Although the software worked fine over the weekend the application now hangs saying "connecting" and nothing appears to kill the app! If you exit and relaunch it immediately says "connecting" not idle so I beleive a lower level process is continuing to run. My suspicious are heightened by the fact the battery dies overnight if it's left in this state.
If I turn the phone off and then back on the software reports that it is "idle" when it's first used.
So - a few questions:
1. Is there anyway of really exiting an application on the N80?
2. Is anyone else experienceing this issue?
3. Does anyone from NOKIA read these boards? If so - can they have a word with the developer as the application isn't really behaving itself (quit! No!).
Last caveat - don't sync your calendar via the lead (and PC software) AND ActiveSync - you end up with a mass of duplicate series.
