Hi All.
Does anyone have any idea as to how i can remove the covers of the nokia n80, a tutorial would be ideal if there is one available. Thank you so much

entwisi 06-06-2006, 09:27 AM Err, what covers??? This isn't a changeable cover phone as far as I can see.
rcastberg 06-06-2006, 09:44 AM well as far as i know you can get a replacement cover, as i pointed out in an earlier post. (http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/showthread.php?t=46276)
But they don't mention how to take it appart, and i'm not about to try taking it appart any time soon  Maybe in a year (or two) from now.

blkcliostu 07-06-2006, 10:12 AM My cover came this morning and i was very easy to take off and put on.
Ive taken some photos to show you how its done.
1. Remove the two screws at the back.
2. Put a flat headed screwdriver down the side of the phone and prize apart.
3. As you can see the side has lifted.
4. Do the same on the otherside and the case will release.
5. Put of you new case and snap into place and put the screws in.
Thanks
Stu

Circassian 09-08-2006, 01:02 AM Does this void my warranty??
i mean screws will be defenetly marked this way..
And here in Syria we have very cheep chinese made (though exactly like original) covers and defenetly not nokia original..
does that void my warranty??
its very important U know.. to keep the warrenty ok, just in case..
I changed out my cover no problem. Can anyone help me with how to change out my numeric keypad? Thank you in advance.

roni'd 20-08-2006, 10:43 AM Thanks for your instructions on changing the facia blkcliostu. Done mine yesterday and the slide works better then before.
As for the special screwdrivers... you need a TX06 you can buy them from maplin (UK) I got the twin wrench driver set and it cost £3.49 and the code is N73BD. It comes with 10 other attachments. It's a handy set for £3.49.
neilmallon 20-08-2006, 11:27 AM I just bought one of these from the same seller:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=008&item=180017782041
Seems to come with the tool and the black keypad and cheaper than buying the seperate case and keypads.
