For anyone looking for some good info etc on what the N93 is capable of, the following might be of interest.

These guys must have had a pretty early firmware version though, so I'll wait for the release before taking their criticisms and benchmarks too seriously.

N93's Camera capabilities:

(Interesting to see the comparison between N93, N80, and Sony K790i photos - scroll about three qurters of the way down the page)

The N93 also has a 3D graphics accelerator chip on it, and this is what it's capable of:

Also, my guess is the benchmarks on the mobile-review site above are not testing the Java 3D mobile graphics API the N93 features, or that the implementation of it on the phone doesn't utilise the 3D chipset (hard to believe). Anyone confirm?

We have already spotted (http://www.symbian-freak.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4564&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=345#43836) that Nokia N93 (http://www.symbian-freak.com/news/006/04/nokia_n93.htm) is the first Nokia phone with HW accelerated 3D graphics and OpenGL ES (1.1) support.

As the real freaks we have been very curious about this new and exciting technology and after some research we have found that N93 uses PowerVR MBX 2D/3D graphics accelerator from Imagination Technology incorporated into Texas Instrument’s OMAP2420 (http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/6351/15yr.jpg) together with the fully programmable VGP vertex processor core, FPU (floating point unit) and ARM11 processor.

Although Nokia N93 isn’t the only Symbian phone that uses this technology, it seams that Sony Ericsson P990 (http://www.symbian-freak.com/news/006/02/p990.htm) as well as.. ...
