View Full Version : New firmware released! Now possible to flash from home!
Resonate1 27-05-2006, 04:55 PM A new firmware is out for the nokia N80 it came out a few days ago. The amazing thing is it is now possible to do it without visiting the nokia service point and its done with the standard cable supplied with the phone! I have tried it on mine and it works perfectly.

For details of how to flash your phone see EDIT. NOT SURE IF IM ALOUD TO POST LINK!
Please do this at your own risk. If you bork your phone its your problem lol
Milli from NL 27-05-2006, 05:31 PM Can you please tell me where I can find this link?
I'm looking on the nokia site but dont seem to find anything??
Thx
Resonate1 27-05-2006, 05:35 PM The possiblilty to flash from home is most definatly not supported by Nokia! If you want to get it updated officially and without risk take it to a nokia service point!
i wont post the link incase the forum moderator takes offence.
If you want it drop me a PM.
Milli from NL 27-05-2006, 05:43 PM :icon4: Youre right, This need to be done by experience people. So for everyone go to Nokia store and ask for the new firmware!!:icon4:
@ Resonate1: thx for the info...
bjarke 27-05-2006, 06:58 PM I got my N80 yesterday and it has the new firmware.
superleccy 28-05-2006, 02:37 AM I pray the day will come when Nokia formally announce their firmware upgrades to the public, and make the download and installation process public-proof.
My nearest Nokia service centre is a long way away. The more complicated these phones get, the more likely there are to be bugs, and the more important firmware updates become, especially for us early adopters (or "beta testers" if you like).
SL
The_Poet 28-05-2006, 09:20 AM Hopefully it wont be any harder than SE's home flashing software:)
Milli from NL 28-05-2006, 05:44 PM Well because mine came from Thailand and I do have more other phones and also al little understanding of software I gave it a go.
First my worries were to find out were the version witch contains the dutch language was. I found out that this was V02.
Oke then I had to do a lot off stuff before installing the software. But oke It worked out well and after a couple installations I finnaly upgraded my N80 from the Thai language to the Dutch one.:)
You do have to follew the readme file but it was oke. And you need to know you way arround if it is not working.
So for the people that know there way arround you can try it out.
For the others....go to the Nokia store or you provider..
So thx to you all out there who helped me to get this beautiful phone in my own language.: :top:  :shakehand

Resonate1 29-05-2006, 09:55 AM V08 is the main one for Western English.
I can now confirm I have flashed my N80, 2 N70's and had several PM's from people I have sent the link to saying they have all flashed sucessfully.
So its clear as long as you follow instructions then this method is safe.
So dont be gay, do it today lol
blkcliostu 29-05-2006, 10:28 AM Thanks guys. I will try this tonight when i get home from work and post my results.
Thanks

mtb2002 29-05-2006, 10:42 AM OK...I am DL now....Just one question....
If this goes wrong, What choices do I have?
IE- Try to do it again, Take it to a Nokia dealer or is it just a paper weight for the rest of it life.....

Resonate1 29-05-2006, 01:34 PM V08 is Western English and the one most people should use.
If it goes wrong just ring your network provider and tell them its f**ked or take it back to whereever you bought it and tell them its f**ked.
From my results and everyone else there is no danger as long as you follw the instructions.

I've heard UK Voda can be really tough (bordering on being unreasonable) about this sort of thing. I'm not risking it yet.

Resonate1 29-05-2006, 01:55 PM lol. What are they gonna do?
You ring them up and tell them it wont switch on and they will authorise a replacement. Thats the last you would ever hear about it. The courier aint gonna give it the once over lol.
Ratkat 29-05-2006, 02:21 PM Vodafone in the uk are as good as gold, I had a N70 flashed at the Fareham Nokia service centre, when I went to pick it up they said 'sorry we have killed your phone, it will have to go to the main repair centre for repair', well to cut a very long story short, 3 months later I got my still broken N70 back from nokia and Vodafone replaced it next day.
Ratkat 29-05-2006, 02:22 PM V08 is not the UK language pack, although you can safely use it.
You can check which pack to use by keying *#0000# to find out your firmware version
Where it says N80 at the bottom will be followed by something like 58.01 or (01) this means use language pack V01
My UK Sim free phone needed the V01 pack, Orange UK phones I believe use the the V02 pack.

Here os a link to a other forum about this subject: Its on Howard forum.

You can see there that many other people had done it already. There's no asurrence it will work but most people have done it oke. Some have issues with the software and others have issues afterwards. But most afterwards problems are fixed or where faults by them self.
But just like the page is saying ITS AT YOUR OWN RISK.:o
But I agree with Resonate1 that if you do like it's sad is 98 % safe.:saint:
For the list of lanquages look at howard for Polish. I haven't seen this one. Perhaps jou can check with *#0000# and look what it say after N80 between the (..) this is the version.

There are 2 errors after the reboot. When you start the 2004 version it is possible that you get more errors. Just open it and egnore the erorrs. Install 2006 without booting. After you done this it should work. If not the properly you got a software conflict. When I installed it on my XP Prof. it was saying that the software aint compatible. With version you have on your PC?? 2000, XP prof, home??

You have a connectivity issue. Are you choosing PC Suite from the phone? Is it installing ALL the drivers. Have you uninstalled all other nokia software? Does phoenix show the current firmware of your phone in the bottom status window when you scan device prior to starting the flashing process.

You need to extract the Self extracting rar file at the exact time just after you click retry and accept to overwrite the DLL's. This will crack the application and should then skip the dongle request.

What phone do you got?
If its a BB5 phone (6630 onwards) then this method should work fine with the correct firmware.
mcsleazycrisps 30-05-2006, 01:32 PM Just to let everyone know, I've managed to flash my UK Orange N80 to v3.0617.0.6. The phone now reads:
V 3.0617.0.6
03-05-2006
RM-92
Nokia N80 (02)
I used the V02 PPM file.
Before starting the flash I did get a warning about not being able to detect the version of the prommer, but I took the chance and clicked OK. 5 minutes later and the phone's up and running with the new firmware.
Upgrading has also removed the naff Orange "photography" application, enabled the PTT and Kodak applications, and also the Orange startup splash seems to have disappeared! I haven't lost any data or settings on the phone, either.
Can't complain at that.
Resonate1 30-05-2006, 02:22 PM Just to let everyone know, I've managed to flash my UK Orange N80 to v3.0617.0.6. The phone now reads:
V 3.0617.0.6
03-05-2006
RM-92
Nokia N80 (02)
I used the V02 PPM file.

mcsleazycrisps 30-05-2006, 02:39 PM Just to show it can be done, I've attached a screenshot.
mtb2002 30-05-2006, 03:04 PM This is just not ment to happen for my N80...Just spent 14 miles return journey to get my N80 upgraded. Spent 3 hours spending money waiting for them to call me to say its done.....
Pick it up brought it home and it still has the same Firmware on...according to them the still do not have the v 3.0617.0.6.
He wasn't to impressed when I told him it was available for the internet....
Got to phone back 2rmw to see if they can get hold of it....
mostonblue 30-05-2006, 04:22 PM well i have just spent a very nervous 5 mins updating the firmware on my N80, spent the entire time looking through my fingers.
followed the guide from http://nokia.dogtoe.com/ and it worked like a charm, so i would like to thank to everybody here who has helped.
and to whoever tried it first, you must have balls of steel!
ps. do i need to uninstall diego and pheonix etc.. to be able to put PC Suite back on my laptop?
bikespod 30-05-2006, 05:14 PM I've got the link, and read the instructions, but i'm not that teccy, so went to a CPW who are supposed to be able to flash the phone.
they said its too new and they don't have the software. Just wait a while and they will get it eventually:rolleyes: that's after waiting for a woman to have the whole workings of a blackberry explained to her. what are instruction manuals for:con?
so if you have the ability, go for it, or wait ages for the NSC to catch up.

Just had an E mail From CPW saying that my local branch will be able to help with the upgrade....Told them which phone as well....Going to call them 2mrw to see what they say....
Have spent afternoon installing and uninstalling all types of software but just cannot seem to get Phoinex working...Now getting a load off errors saying .DLL files missing.....
The_Poet 30-05-2006, 06:11 PM Mine got as far as most peoples in phoenix then started kicking up a ' cannot change phone status'
it just wouldnt have it all :-(
Come on Nokia make it easier than d'ling and cracking :-)
Slartibartfast 30-05-2006, 07:16 PM Hi!
Thanks to whoever did the work on this - just upgraded my Orange N80 and it worked as advertised.
The browser is now significantly more stable - damn thing used to shut down regularly but now operates as advertised.
You don't lose settings: wifi, texts, other installed software all remain.
I can recomend this process.
Slart.
Bobbles 30-05-2006, 08:09 PM tried again on my PC this time and it worked a treat. I can not say I have noticed much difference but nice one all the same
Slartibartfast 30-05-2006, 08:39 PM The browser does appear to be faster - not blindingly so - but pages render more quickly. Surfing around a large number of pages works - although the browser has crashed.
BUT: I've not once received the "partial rendering due to low memory" message once and all pages render entirely.
Other observations: the phone does not boot with the Orange logo anymore. Using the V02 software adds a KODAK photo uploading / printing application.
regards,
Slart.
The_Poet 30-05-2006, 11:56 PM well,
Tonight I finally managed it (phone flashing that is :-) )
I did do one thing diff to last night which was opening and closing diego before opening phoenix 2006.
I now have v 3.0617.0.6
03-05-2006
with the O2 language pack.(Thats the version and nowt to do with the service provider :-)
simonxda 31-05-2006, 06:42 AM Hmm... Where can I get V11 - English, Simplified Chinese?
Could someone get me the link or which support chinese?:con?

How about the Orange browser stored bookmarks for things like Orange World etc. Did your bookmarks remain intact. I have a lot of additional ones that I have stored. Also, were the Orange GPRS, Orange WAP etc. settings kept or did you need to reload them?
Tanks.
Simon
mcsleazycrisps 31-05-2006, 07:57 AM I can't say anything about the bookmarks as I deleted them not long after getting the phone. But practically all my settings were intact. The only thing that changed was the phone Lock Code - back to the original 12345.
Slartibartfast 31-05-2006, 08:10 AM Simon,
My news feeds remain - all the other bookmarks have gone. The "orange internet" link is still top of the list and the auto-bookmarks still remembered the last few pages I'd been to.
Looks like you'd lose your bookmarks.
regards,
Slarti

I dont see what the problem is lol. I tried it first but if I borked my phone I would just ring Orange and tell them it borked lol.
Its not like the Courier is gonna give it the once over is it.
Infact I dropped it the other day and scratched the Silver bit so ive called them and told them its not reading memory cards! Will get a new one tommorow :)
So I will flash that one also lol.
LesLesleyson 31-05-2006, 08:52 AM Unfortunately when you get a replacement phone from Orange they provide you with a refurbished model - not a new one, so I would try and avoid replacing it if you can.
Bobbles 31-05-2006, 09:19 AM all my bookmarks remained intact.
The only thing I had to do was set the time again and alter the right soft key function.
ss3000 31-05-2006, 11:41 AM got my N80 today, must say its impressive :icon14: , checked the firmware and its the old version : v3.0614.0.3 but so far i have had no such glitches or any problems, plus everything loads up in normal time it don't take long at all!!
chervee 31-05-2006, 03:01 PM nokia.dogtoe.com is dead now :| could anyone be so nice and tell me where can i find this firmware now? ive tried googlin' but comes to nothing :frown: i need phoenix, diego, firmware, and language pack v06 (polish language). im damn unlucky, it was normally workin few hours ago but i had no time to play with it :|
Bad luck chervee, I just finished downloading the apps and software a couple hours ago and installing, all went smooth, but I only have V01.
If you need them I have them, I cant email to you because they are too big, but would be able to transfer via skype if you have a quick connection.
chrsfrwll 31-05-2006, 03:17 PM I didn't want to risk anything, so took it took it to a Nokia Service Centre (lucky as I have one near). However everything got lost in the reflash, all bookmarks etc. overwritten and I started with a "clean" phone.
One thing I noticed though, when zooming a picture taken at full res, the N80 still has problems with memory after 50% zoom and I had to close all applications to zoom to 100%. It managed to get there but it's disappointing that I had to close everything (all of one other program!!).
chervee 31-05-2006, 03:19 PM @ Cash - it would be great if u could send it to www.rapidshare.de and send me just a link to the pack. ill try v01, english is ok 4 me, but im wondering if speech recognition will work as good as it is now. im lil bit tired of getting "not enough memory" message, so ill risk :)
Ok chervee
I will upload all files to rapidshare,
You will have to ask somebody else here the correct instructions and sequence to install the software, I cant quite remember and I didnt copy it onto my computer, but I am sure somebody here has the correct procedure.
I will let you know when files are uploaded

4.
Upgrading Phoenix 2004 to Phoenix 2006
* Download: phoenix_service_sw_2006_12_5_136.exe
* Upgrading to Phoenix 2006 (required for flashing modern phones, like the N80)
1. Open the Phoenix by launcing from the icon on the desktop.
2. Minimize Phoenix (leave it running for the next couple of steps)
3. Launch the Phoenix 2006 installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
4. When prompted, select "I will restart later."
5. Close the Phoenix you left running (should still be minimized).
6. Relaunch Phoenix by double-clicking the icon on your desktop.
7. Under the Help menu, choose About to ensure the version is 2006.
5.
Flashing the Nokia Phone
* Download a firmware of your choice.
1. Remove the SIM card, and memory card from your phone.
2. Turn on the phone (it will start in offline mode because there is no SIM card inside).
3. Plug in the USB cable to both the phone and the computer.
4. When prompted, select "PC Suite" from the menu list on the phone.
5. Wait for *all* drivers to fully install themselves before proceeding. You will see the driver icon disappear when it is complete.
6. In Phoenix, choose File, then Manage Connections.
7. Check USB, and then click Next. (See screenshot.)
8. It will then search your USB ports for the phone. When it finds it, hit Finish.
9. Once it has finished scanning, click apply, then click close.
10. Next, select "Scan Product" from the File menu.
11. If you did it right, you will see information populate itself in the main Phoenix window. (See screenshot.) This is crucial. If you do not see similar information, and if the phone is not being detected. Stop. You did something wrong.
12. From the Flashing menu, choose SW Update.
13. Wait for Phoenix to continue talking to the phone. You will see some information scroll by in the SW Update window.
14. Choose the .FPSX file for the "Image File"
15. Choose the .V0# file for the "PPM File" (.V08 is "western" English)
16. Click "Start". If you get any warnings, or messages, check this thread at HowardForums.
* The flashing process takes about five minutes to complete. The first few steps ensure connectivity to the phone. After it verifies connectivity, Phoenix will automatically restart the phone. Once it has completed (a dialog box will popup saying it has completed successfully), you may close Phoenix, unplug the USB cable, and restart your phone. It should startup with the firmware you flashed to it.
* If you restart your machine again, Phoenix 2006 will stop working. When you launch it (after restarting) it will prompt you for the Nokia dongle. At this point in time, the only way I know to get around this is simply uninstalling Phoenix, and starting from scratch. If you have any insight into this, please don't hesitate to drop me a line.
Disclaimer: I take no responsability for what the end results are to the actual phone. This is a guide, and has been proven to work many times. In some cases, unusual behavior might occur. If you have any doubt, simply do not proceed. Questions or comments may be directed to this thread at HowardForums.

bikespod 31-05-2006, 04:42 PM oh how i wish i was sufficiently confident to do this.:con?
CPW are saying they will not be able to flash a N80 untill halfway thru next month, as training hasn't been authorised by nokia yet.
Does anyone know of a service center near either Greenwich or Fulham in London. CPW are a bit useless. Any help much appreciated, the out of memory during browsing is really frustrating.

Go for it. It was really easy after all the software was installed.
davidegee 31-05-2006, 05:44 PM I flashed my phone last night. Lost bookmarks, not fussed about that..
I can now zoom all the way in on pics but they main fault I was hoping to solve is still there.
When using web it still only searches for WLAN connections unless I have it set for user defined, so I have to go back through web settings and select my access point that way.
Does anyone else still have that problem?

Not on a brand new model like this. They had no time to refurb lol. Mine is brand new and its just arrived!
lets get flashing
Resonate1 31-05-2006, 07:30 PM MAJOR DEVELOPMENT!
You will laugh at this after all the warnings I have given.
So i got the aforementioned new phone from Orange just now and started flashing it.
Of course the sodding battery was only risidual charge and subsequently died during flashing!
It stopped at 90% and said flashing failed.
After this phone is as dead as a dodo, no screen, no charging indicator, no nothing :(
So i reconnected it to the USB cable after a bit of a charge and tried to send the flash file again, it warned me it couldnt find a device and did i want to send the flash anyway. I said yes and off it went! The phone is now back to life with the updated firmware!!!!!!!!!!!!! PHEW!
SO I CONCLUDE YOU CAN STILL FLASH EVEN IF YOU FUCK IT UP. LOOLOLOL
ZtuFfie 31-05-2006, 07:42 PM V03 anyone?:)
octheme 31-05-2006, 08:02 PM I've got the V08 if anyone wants it, Im looking for the V02 version!

Im affraid not. It wont be unlocked just gets rid of network crap. and makes the fone unbranded
LesLesleyson 01-06-2006, 09:18 AM Didn't have time to download the software from nokia.dogtoe.com (although I did manage to get the firmware and language pack). Is there any chance someone could upload the software required (is it just phoenix and diego?) to yousendit or something similar? I can up the firmware and english language pack if anyone needs it. Thanks.
LesLesleyson 01-06-2006, 09:19 AM I have made a torrent for the download of these files.

jonstatt 01-06-2006, 11:52 AM Am I correct in understand that if I flash an Orange N80, I will lose the Orange Photography program that is pre-installed on the phone? This is not an application that is downloadable/installable. It is already on the phone and does not appear in the installed applications list.
Jonathan
mcsleazycrisps 01-06-2006, 02:26 PM Jonstatt - yep, you will lose the photgraphy application.. Not really a great loss!

Yes it is embeded in the firmware, very annoying as it trys to make you upload files to the internet every time you take a bloody picture. How rude!
LesLesleyson 01-06-2006, 07:52 PM Has anyone had any luck downloading this torrent? I get an error in uTorrent ("No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it")
Milli from NL 01-06-2006, 08:22 PM @ Resonate1 - I like what you do hihi...you got guts...As you know mine came from Thailand so sending it back will be no good for me :o
Well people I don't have torrent but work with newsservers. This weekend I will upload everything I have collected. And I do mean everything. Including all firmwarefiles. (you can find it if you search for "Milli post Nokia N80 stuff".
Also at the howard forum you can read that the site has been closed because someone is pushing the line. The poster /provider cut the link so that's why it's dead.
There more people overthere willing to upload the files. You got also asked them there to post them for you.
Update Flashing after 5 days. Well everything still works very well for me. I have no problems at all. There were some issues about wifi but that was more my own fault. Also the gallery give sometimes a picture not sharp but after zooming and going back then it is. I don't know if it is a fault after flashing or still a memory issue. But so far I'm a very happy man...:trytofly: :D
Wez69 01-06-2006, 10:28 PM Ive got the torrent but cant seem to get the step 10.
10. Next, select "Scan Product" from the File menu.
Nothing happens any ideas why or what i should do next?
The_Poet 01-06-2006, 10:42 PM This may or may not be a cure,
I had this problem and kept coming up with error messages.
After trying 5 times it finally succeeded on Tuesday night, the only thing different was I opened and closed Diego before running phoenix 2006, after I did this everything went ok.
If you look at diego and phoenix you might wonder what the difference is apart from phoenix being a programme for testing etc, I am still wondering but it worked for me so what the heck?
:-)
It had nothing to do with the bottle of red that I drank before I did the last try :-)
Wez69 01-06-2006, 11:27 PM Nice all sorted! Cheers!
Wez
Fatbloke 02-06-2006, 05:44 AM Had a go at uploading the V02 firmware file as a torrent.

Merci
splash_mark 03-06-2006, 03:49 PM And another one:

Another sucessfull flash :)
I never used the installed Diego either?
Phone seems more stable, and slightly faster swiching between programs and menus.
Still upset that images and videos are no where near as good as my N90 I sold to get the N80 :(
Will
I successfully flashed my phone too :) So long as you follow the instructions to the letter, it's very easy!

I took this to mean I should use the V02 update - am I correct?
Looks like all my settings were kept, except for browser bookmarks, so make sure you make a note of those...
As for that pesky memory leak, all has been fixed!! I browsed some graphic heavy sites over wi-fi which I knew caused problems before the upgrade, and now not one single error occurs :)
Bobbles 07-06-2006, 09:18 PM it appears battery life has improved considerably with the new firmware. I charged the phone over 48hours ago.
I turned it off during one night but not the other. I've used bluetooth extensively, mp3 player for a couple of hours, took a couple of pics, wifi for an hour, etc
I'm on the final bar.
biggest difference is that with the old firmware once the first two bars had gone it was only a couple of hours until it went dead.
And another one:
All of mine 6 pc have installed PC-Suite (LAN) and all of them have the usb 2.0. The only one which has nothing of Nokia stuff on and where i can install the flashing programms has still usb 1.1 (very slow) Will i have a problem flashing thrue a usb 1.1??
Thanx
should work ok, but why not just uninstall pc suite and the original drivers, do the install and then re-install pc suite
Poach 08-06-2006, 01:56 PM Hey there, I'm kinda new to the phone flashing thing and have a couple questions. I'm living in Hong Kong and have noticed some differences between the N80's here and elsewhere most notably the settings option is nowhere to be found in the contacts>options menu.
Anyhow my question is this:
I've used the *#0000# function on my phone to find out what firmware I'm using and it came up with this:
v.3.0617.0.6
03-05-2006
RM-92
Nokia N80 (46.02)
Now I've noticed that the number 46 seems to be different than a lot of peoples 42 and the number that everyone is refering to as version is 02. Looking at the languages I'm sure that this has to be a different firmware. My N80 has chinese simplified, chinese traditional and english. Can anybody shed some light on these differences? Is this a different firmware? Is there a point of me flashing?
LesLesleyson 08-06-2006, 02:28 PM You have the latest firmware so no, there's no point flashing it.
Ok since http://nokia.dogtoe.com/ its kinda offline here is the flashing guide Especially for N80 ENJOY =)

are you sure you got those numbers right mate, the firmware dates 03-05-2006 should be V 3.0617.06
The_Poet 10-06-2006, 04:29 PM Poach,
I would say your uptodate with your firmware etc and the languages are correct for your current location.(Hong Kong).
Don't do anything to it :-)

Unless theyve released another one? GazBaker please recheck!! Plus where abouts in UK is this O2 store. Every shop in southampton still has old firmware models.
Im still deciding weather to flash or not... seeing as im already having so many problems, im worried about them finding out when I next get a replacement handset? Do they check? can they prove I did it as apposed to a service center?

I am guessing somewhere in the system and paperwork the firmware version will be logged, but whether they can be bothered to check if you send the phone back is another issue, If they say anything I would just play dumb and say to them "I was told by Nokia that the only place I can get the phone updates was at a NSC so how would I have a different version of firmware on my phone without it being officially updated by nokia, it must be a mistake with the paperwork at your end " :)
Its up to them to prove that you did it, and I dont see how they can do that

Haha..good job you cleared that up otherwise we would have had a raging debate going on here :)
gazbakeruk3 10-06-2006, 09:21 PM GazP, I got my N80 from Wigan in Lancashire they got new stock this morning but ran out within 2 hours of getting them in.
With regards to flashing the phone my dealings with o2 the past 5years is when using the O2 Store if you to take your phone back to them and they send it for repair and also put on lastest firmware and then send it back to you unless the phone can't be fixed then you get a new one had a problem with my 6680
Now with O2 online its a different story you ring customer services saying there the phone is working and they give you an address to send the phone to one o2 get your phone they send a new one (they say refurb phone sometimes) out for next day, they will charge you if there is any other damage that isnt wear and tear, i.e. you droped it in the sink etc etc
hope that makes it a bit clear of o2 repair systems i know it isnt part of firmware but it gives you a understanding of how the two O2 companies work
Cheers
And sorry about the firmware version on my previous post i put a 7 instead of 6
gaxor 12-06-2006, 08:41 AM Hey guys, where there are 2 numbers in brackets at the end of the firmware code this refers to operator specific firmware as opposed to generic languague specific Nokia firmware. (I think 42.01 is Vodafone and 33.01 is O2)
bikespod 12-06-2006, 03:40 PM :con? :frown: :banghead:  :dontknow:
i've just spent effing ages downloading and installing all the necessary, stumbling at the crack stage (didn't know you needed the reflexes of a cobra) then having to re download phoenix 2006 about 7 times to get the full 90mb. successfully upgraded to 2006, yes, yes ,yes i thought.
didn't rush anything, do it right, i thought, be careful.
followed instructions and it came up with an error saying the ppm file should be 2002 or later(or something similar)as it couldn't tell, flash anyway? YES! flash for all your worth.
error flash failed server threw an exception or something, (its all french to me)
then tried a few more times, tried v08 instead of v02 still no joy.
sod throwing an exception, nearly threw my laptop.:argh: :argh: :bawling:
I'm sorry to spoil everyone's flashing fun, but the distribution of copyrighted flash files is against the rules. The discussion ends here.
