I have already read about people noticing that there is no way to take pictures directly in portrait mode. If you want to see them properly later, you have to edit and rotate them yourself.

But I have also find another problem. Imagine you did as I described, and that you want to add that rotated picture to a MMS: the MMS editor is so stupid to stretch the portrait picture - distorting it - to make it again a landscape!!!

Did you try any recent Sony Ericsson mobile recently? Their sw is so nice and effective. How is it possible that even high-end Nokia mobiles have crappy software? What a waste!

Sony Ericsson make junior phones, not smartphones...

I know, but - at the same time - they show better care for their customers than Nokia does. I have been a developer for several years, I cannot imagine developing a MMS editor for the S60 particularly more difficult than developing the same for a Sony Ericsson W810i... I would imagine it easier! Then, why is the S60 one the crappy one? Is Nokia not to blame in your opinion?
