I was thinking I might get an N70 on Orange UK, can anyone confirm (or deny!) that you can browse the full internet on this device using 3G and it is not portal locked to available sites?

Also, can you use it as a 3G phone modem preferably over BT?

Dunno bout covers.

D/L Fexplorer (a file explorer), and Bemused (remote control Winamp). Netfront's a really good browser. Better than Opera I reckon. Agile Messenger. Task Spy.

That'll keep you busy. :D

Cheers chaps.

So, you can definitely view ANY website then - I assume so if you can get other browsers? And do this via 3G?

You can also run whatever browser you like. I tried Netfront but to be honest I couldn't get on with it at all. In addition to the included browser (which is pretty good) I run Opera 8.5 and Doris. All 3 browsers use the same access point and hence use 3G.

Excellent, thank you Steve. Now the question has to be do I take the N70, upgrade to the SPV C600 or wait on the N80. Arrrgghhh, decisions, decisions.

My only problem with the N70, and actually the only thing stopping me getting it is the fact it uses the RS-MMC cards. I have an SPV C500 at the moment which uses mini-SD and it seems a shame to junk them and have to spend more cash when the N80 and C600 will use mini-SD. I have been able to upgrade for several months but until the phones have all been rubbish. Me want toys!!!!!!!

N80 offers me everything I want in a mobile at the mo, and with the SPV range seemingly relucatant to offer 3G or wireless any time in the near future I may swap from the Microsoft OS to Symbian. Wish Nokia would sort out synching with Outlook though - waaayyyy tooooooooo sssslllllllllooooooooowwwwwww.
