Most of the programs that came with the N90 still use the old low-res legacy mode. For several applications like Opera or the PDF viewer, the higher resolution would really make sense.

Does anyone know if Nokia will provide updated versions of those programs that really fit to the N90? If only the picture-stuff is available for the high resolution, the fine display doesn't make so much sense after all...

Opera will on the coming friday (according to their plans) release an upgraded version of Opera for the N90 that supports the higher resolution of the display:

I expect this upgrad to be free if you got Opera preinstalled on your phone, at least free upgrades has been the previous policy from Opera software. Dont expect any upgrades of Opera coming from Nokia.
