I was speaking with a Nokia engineer at the weekend and he accidentally referred to a Nokia "N92" that he had tested internally. He didn't realise a device with that number hadn't been released yet to the public. The significant thing was he mentioned it had a 4GB flash RAM drive (not HD like the N91) for storing music on.
Anyone hear any other rumours about this?
Thats quite interesting and could be plausible! :D

ive read that the drive on the n92 is 40mb not 4gb but if your nokia enigner says 4gb even better:D :D :D :D

90 MB or 4GB... that's a big difference :)
I don't think the actual model number matters, the point was the Nokia guy I spoke to said it was flash-RAM based (or the equivalent) - i.e. solid state and not a hard drive, and of capacity 4GB. It'll presumably be called something else other than the N92 then. It's a very very logical move for Nokia. The Apple iPod Nano has just come out with flash ram storage, and I personally would much rather have something solid state which is lighter, tougher and uses less battery than the hard drive in the N91. So, we'll have to wait and see....
