According to the Symbian homepage (http://www.symbian.com/) the Samsung SGH-D730 (http://www.symbian.com/phones/samsung_sgh_d730.html) is now shipping to retail.

I don't know why but I was expecting the D720 first or at the same time.

The Samsung SGH-D720 appears to be shipping in Germany too ...

Google finds several German online shops with prices:
samsung sgh-d720 site:.de

From about Euro 370 for either the D720 or D730. Google's translation indicates this includes VAT, though obviously not delivery.

I have just noticed that the SGH-D720 slider is now available SIM free from stock, at £334.95 inc VAT, from Expansys UK website - http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=125393

The SGH-D730 flip is available for pre-order at £329.95 - http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=125425

I haven't seen them listed anywhere else yet.


Has anybody seen any networks subsidising them anywhere?
