Have had my nokia 7710 for about 3 weeks now,,i have the picodrive and i have a great site for roms if anyone is intrested,

The problem i am having tho is playin video/movies, i have tried to convert avi files to rm using Real Producer but only get a msg saying something about only being able to play audio or video, then the phone will only play audio anyway.
i have also tried the converter with the nokia pc suite but this only converts a little piece of the avi file.
i have also tried to smartmovie, the version i have is smartmovie 2.72, it installed on phone ok but the phone wont run it, is this the right version for the 7710?,

any help or other suggestions on how to play movies on the 7710 would be more then welcome.

Even i have SmartMovie,i can easily convert the avi files for my phone and watch them easily on the device. I dnt know what problem your phone has...May be some firmware problems...Or you can start restaring your phone after installing SmartMovie.

i also have a nokia 7710, and downloaded and installed Smart Movie
only i have one problem, when i click to open the program smart movie, the screen goes white for 2 seconds, and then goes back to the normal desktop...
i have also tried restarting my phone several times...
is there any player i can put on my nokia 7710 which plays all files?
or is there any way i can use a converter to convert my files from my pc into files i can play on my nokia 7710 (and then have it run GOOD quality)?!

For older version of Smart Movie (then 2.74) it need the phone language to be english to be able to run. In 2.74, it can run when phone operate in other language.
