I m having a problem with my 3230 .
First thing the dust
and secondly when i usually cre8 a sms its maximum was 200 +
recently it became 70 ..
why is this so and how would i fix it
i hope someone would reply me soon
and the sound quality also sucks

A single SMS is 160 characters (stored in 140 bytes/octets), but if you use characters not in the default SMS alphabet (e.g., certain accented characters not in the default alphabet, or characters in languages like Greek, etc.), then the encoding automatically is switched to Unicode and two-bytes per character which gives you 70 characters for a single message.

However, phones like the 3230 automatically sends longer messages in multiple parts (as many as are needed), and most phones made within the last few years know how to reassemble the messages and show them as one.
