I've just bought a 6630 and am really happy with it. There's just a small problem. I have bouhgt/downloaded/installed a few java games (including solitare from gameloft) but they don't seem to have any sound. I have read through the manual and gone through all the menus but haven't found anything relating to game sound. (I am familiar with these options in other phones such as the 6230 and 3510i as I am). It's probably something really obvious that screams "newbie" but any help would be really appreciated. Cheers and Happy Christmas!

Java apps (installed from .jar files) makes sounds/noise on my 6630 just fine. Warning sounds enabled or disabled in the profile on your phone?

Maybe these games don't have sounds. (another idea)
Is your phone on Silent profile?

Warning sounds must be enabled in your current phone profile.

Even then I have a few that don't play the sounds

Also Java games seem to suffer from slowdown on my 6630

I have just downloaded Urban GT (or something) from the Voda website. Same problem - no sound in any profile. Any solutions?

You might have firmware versions 3.45.110 or 3.45.111 (check by keying *#0000#) - there is a bug in these versions that means they do not play MIDI sound from Java games.
