Have the opportunity to get away fromit all and leave mains electricity behind for 6 weeks! Wouldlike to be able to use the office functions of the 9500 for more than the first day(!). Does anyone know of a portable solar charger that can be used with the 9500? Would also be interested in any experiences people have with this technology and mobile phones.

well my friend had a portable solar charger whcich he bought for a price (if im not mistaken) 30$
and i think it works on all nokia models

if u r headed to a place where there is no electricity why would you want to use office applications????

I am on a 6 week expedition with various scientific experiments to carry out and it would help to keep the various reports / spreadsheets up to date!

Sounds very interesting. Where are you sourcing this charger from?
I guess if you had the phone side off the battery would last a bit longer too.

Hope to source charger from UK - if I can feel confident that the web advertising works!! Hence my question as to whether anyone has any experience of these or not! I would prefer to get a recommended make and model. There will definitely be no phone or WiFi to drain the battery!
