I've just read Steve's sobering review. OK, I need to know how or what to do about Notes. Is there no replacement whatsoever? Yes I am one of the few that use it and I don't know what I'd do without it. It is in fact the only reason so far that I know of not switching to the 9500

Can you post a link of the review?

Thanks

Hello Tahir,

You can use Notes ( notes.sis) on the 9500 if:
1. you don't mind limiting yourselve to keyboard shortcuts.
2. You learn to assign new notesfiles to the folder of your wishes (File manager/find the notes document you made.../file/add to desk). You have to do this only once for each new file.
Not to be confused with the "new note" button from within the program; also that works fine.

If , e.g. you want to change the preferences, use ctrl K and change e.g. the width of the screens

All no problem at all. Use ctrl S to save, or just use the close button and all will save OK.

I use it now for a week as also I could not do without. It works great, even printing to my WIFI network HP 1010
It even supports the rocker key, which cannot be said of my second addiction:cards.sis.

Did you know by the way (of course you did) that you can go up and down in the left screen with ctrl arrow up/down key?

Succes, it is a great app!

So notes.sis comes with the 9500 or do we install it ourselves from the 9210i package. Just in case it's the latter, I"m sure I don't have notes.sis, can anyone tell me where I can get it from?

Will notes.sis synch with Outlook (2003)? If I remember correctly, it did synch notes on the Revo..?!

Do you know if any of the other files that are on that url okay with 9500, such as the spell checker?
