View Full Version : ER6 Meetings
MaleBuffy 15-10-2002, 06:05 AM What do you think of the idea of organising ER6 meetings? We could all like set an city, date and have a meeting, night out etc. Ppl from other countries could do the same for their country of residents, or in a more sci-fi "in your dreams" situation, have an International Summer Meeting :)
Well its just a thought, dont shoot me :P
It would be a great idea - but I think it would also be quite a lot of work.
I may at some point work at organising a UK one.
In the meantime if anyone is organsing something in their country please let me know and it'll be publicised here.
Rafe
J2theIZZO 15-10-2002, 01:29 PM The ER6 slosh up!, sounds like fun :D
Where abouts were you thinking Rafe?, I know we have alot of UK members but they are spread all over.
I'm thinking somewhere central like Leeds or Nottingham for instance (Not at all in anyway, shape or form biased) :D
I think the idea of grabbing a function room in a pub, saying to the manager that they can take everythign over the bar, with a small fee covered by a few people who want to show off stuff is easily do-able.
In fact 3-Lib (http://3lib.ukonline.co.uk/) already do such a thing, mainly for Palm users with a good lot of S5mx and 9210 owners. There is one this Thursday.
But given the make up of this, I think an ER6 Dedicated one may be worth a go. My vote is either London (cause I live there) or London (cause I work there)
Dazler 15-10-2002, 01:47 PM I'm going to the www.symbian.info meeting the 9th november. But if there would be a AAEr6 meeting I think I could catch a ferry to your island ;p
