I have found a way of rebooting the 9500 w/o taking off the batt. Go to "security" then "device security" then choose "yes" to allow remote locking. Follow the instructions after that and you will see...

yeah that would work but most reasons u need to restart is because the phone is hanged up

so ur way isnt that much helpfull when ur phone desnt work:D
