I know, but the translations are most of the time, well, how do I say: crap :D And although Mobile-Reviews own translations aren't perfect either, they actually are a lot better!

Neither can I, but as I said, the pics speak for itself! :D

The quality is pretty impressive indeed! At least matches the S700!

Hey,

What hardware do you think they'll replace?
It doesn't mention about what area will be improved.

1) Obviously the second camera - for release after end of jan 2005.
2) Probaby more on-board memory
3) Might change the voltage compatibility of RS-MMC cards

bullshit :D there will be no changes like this.... you mentioned things, which will be in the next "i" model, and not in Nokia 6630 and that improved version with more memory and second camera will be announced/or maybe avaliable/ in the midlle of the next year, but in this model there will be no changed like this from january,or other month, because you are talking about an next model... /improved 6630/.

Hey,

All valid points mate.
Most definetly the rs-mmc voltage issue could be addressed and if so this will please a lot of people.

Memory & camera? Hmmmm, possibly but not so sure as Nokia would like you to go out and buy another phone.

Guess we'll have to wait and see. It is making me wonder if I should wait or buy when it comes out in UK though.
Shame as I'm excited about getting this phone and peeved that my new 512mb rs-mmc probably won't work in it

The voltage of the RS-MMC was reduced from 3 to 1.8 volts, because of power saving. So the phone battery runs longer!!

Hey,

Oh yeah, we know that part but what we don't understand is why their now getting people to change to another type of mmc. Especially as the idea is to make people upgrade from their existing Nokia S60 phone to the 6630.

Yes, hardcore Symbian users like myself for instance will change without even thinking of it, but it's not much of an incentive if you cannot use the equipment you brought along with your first one.

For instance take people who have spent 200+ on SatNav for their phone, that comes pre-installed on an rs-mmc/mmc card. Now these cards are useless and so is their program, especially as so far you cannot get these DV rs-mmc's in anything much above 128mb at present.

A bit of a blooper there I think. I'm all for the longer battery life but we also need to maintain some back-compatability with peripherals we've brought along the way.

Just my thoughts anyway :)
