SD were not "banned" with the 6600, because SD uses different kind of hardware/software and the 6600 only has MMC hardware/software.

There are two kinds of RS-MMC; 3.3V (Volt) and dual 1.8V/3.3V and both should work with the 6260 (but only those with 1.8V support will on the 6630). SanDisk, for example, only supports 3.3V (if future compatibility matters).

Yes. When you get an RS-MMC (RS = Reduced Size), you will also get an adapter that makes it the same size as a regular-size MMC and it will fit in any regular-size MMC reader/device.

hahaha, good idea. i tried inserting it without an adapter (although i had one, call it experimenting). so it went it fine - way in. i had to use some forceps (mom's a doc) and a pair of scissors to clip the rs-mmc and take it out. didn't take that much of effort but the tip of the rs-mmc came out in scratches. it was the 32 mb one nokia provided.

im happily using a kingmax 256 mb one now though :D
