I've waited weeks for the 7610 (UK) only to find out its only available on voda and o2 :mad:

Is there a way I could get a T-mobile sim to work with a 7610?

I wondering if I could edit a file called operinfo.txt, located sumwhere like z:\system\bootdata
by adding

234,30, T-mobile uk
234,31, T-mobile uk
234,32, T-mobile uk
...

or any other simpler means? PLZ HELP

Buy an unlocked (no operator SIM lock) 7610 from an independent retailer (instead of an operator shop) and use any operator's SIM in it.

In T-mob store told me that they will not launch N7610. :?

My 7610 is on T-Mobile and it runs fine.
The auto config even goes and grabs the gprs/wap/web settings correctly.

Just buy a sim free one from the web.

I use my unlocked N7610 on T-Mobile without problems. Some of the services such as Presence are not supported but no worries.
