Yesterday and after a software reboot my 9210 do not wake up any more. Integral dead.After that i call an ambulance and i send that to NOKIA hospital for first aid.YOU KNOW PEOPLE HOW MANY DAYS THAT NOKIA SERVICE NEED TO FIX THAT? about 15 DAYS.Yes it's crazy.I don't know for other country's but on Greece the after sale service it's for crying.Any way i make patience.

I΄m from Spain. Here about 7-15 days.
Here in Finland you get it right away, if you live near service point (big city's).. week if you have to send it.
I know that Nokia's after sale's in other countries is bad, but i can just hope that Nokia Service in there is someday as good as it is here..
The trouble is they have waiting lists (a bit like the NHS) and with mobile phones an ever bigger business they can't keep up. Its not good enough I know, but they can't afford to employ more people without putting up prices... /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif
The other thing is most mobiles aren't as essential as the 9210 and/or can be replaced temporaily.
Yes the after sales service it's a hard to move ( sluggish ),but one more thing.The big LIE with this Nokia Club Members.It's for nothing. I had 3-4 member cards with me because all my phone it's Nokia and after each buying i register them. I ask Nokia Service if i have any advantage, and the peety clerk say to me, NO MAN. Any way this club it's for WHAT ?

Chrys, club Nokia is a waste of time. Worse than that, it's an insult because they actually advertise a product that only exists in a skeletal form. I've given up on them. When was the last time you went to the nokia site to get news about their product? And help! I've taken to asking my dog, at least he responds!

Club Nokia in the UK will give you a number for a company called Communicaide - the only people authorised to do anything to your 9210 (or 9110). They (usually) have a turn around time of 72 Hours.

I have idea.If any friend on this forum had a problem with 92-9110 sent that to you (or to JeP /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif ) and you send it to this company.And vice versa.THE QUICKEST repairing way for all us.May be there that Nokia service regognize some people spend his money (998 € euro i pay) not for only to buy a phone ang forget it, but some times NEED and something more. Technical support. For the final.YOU 'R LUCKY GUY my frind.

I can remember his name, but someone contacted me through my website from Israel, he was having lots of problems with his 9210, but Nokia don't have any service centres in Israel. I suggested he contact Club Nokia in the UK to see if they would help and they did. He had to send his 9210 to the UK, but they got it sorted. Now I know that sending it to the UK will be more expensive, and may take longer than the 72hours I mentioned - but it may be quicker than the weeks that some people talk about.
Just thought I'd share that with you.
If and i say If i have in the future some other problems, i think serious this possibility. ( For what reason the EEC exist./phpBB/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif )

Well...as far as I am concerned, I more and more think of getting rid of this bl.... 9210 (I would not even give it to my ennemy)... and go back to the good old Palm Pilot. Thanks Mr. Nokia ! I am really angry ! More and more often, "Notes" or "Word" refuse to work when I need them! ...Let alone the documents or notes I needed urgently and which of course are on the 9210 ! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_mad.gif

I turned my 9210 in for repair 4 weeks ago and the told me it would take 15 working day's to fix it (that is 3 weeks) I called them this morning and they stil don't know when it will be back but it will take at least a week.
This is in the Netherlands.
So mailing it to a forum friend in the UK will shorting your waiting time big-time!!!
If you really dont want your 9210 please send ot to me so I can give it a good home. I know the problems are frustrating but normally a hard rest of new firmware solves them.

Hi guys well i m from bombay india and i to had many problems with my communicator and we do havea service center over here but after a month of buying my phone it went dead(the communicator side) but i would only be able to use it as a phone anyways i called the care line and they were very rude to me so i called the headquaters in finland and spoke to some of the top people in the company namely the president of marketing and he got me a new replacement in bombay india with 24hrs,best service i have ever recived.

In Switzerland, I had it upgraded in one (1) week. If you want the address, just ask
What you mean my friend. For one upgrade you take one week ? IMMORTAL NOKIA YOU 'R THE BEST.
By the way 11 days it's past and i call today the Nokia Service for what happend with my phone, and him's tell me. It's early for some news. Call us in the midle of next week.

hearing from you guys makes me feel fortunate... i just dropped off my 9210 in an authorized nokia care office here in the philippines...they upgraded the phone to 3.62 but still the phone is dead....they changed 4 flash ICs and they are still waiting approval from australia to activate it or something....hopefully i'll get it within 7 days considering that 3 days of those are non-working days...just the same, i'm not really sure now if it was a wise buy....
Your experience show that Nokia really want to make life easier for all their customers. But the person implementing or in contact with the end users are not up to task.
Just wish Nokia can take in comments and retrain their representatives.
I've been waiting about 7 months now to upgrade my 9210 from 3.18 because the service centers didn't have the hardware to do the upgrade. When I called them yesterday they told me it would take 24 hours to do it. I didn't liked that so I told them to give me a time when they had time to do it and I could give it to them then. 5 hours after I left it, I picked it up again with v4.13 /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
