just curious can i connect a nokia 6600 to the laptop using the wireless network card? will the card communicate with the phone being bluetooth or not ?

that´s a no, I guess...
W-Lan is Wlan and Bluetooth is Bluetooth...
so either get a BT Dongle for your Laptop or get the new Communicator - that has got Wlan build in... :D
