Hi, is anyone of you encountered the same problem. I have probably 300+ contacts list. Some of the sms/phonecalls didn't show the contact name eventhough the numbers are inside my contacts list but some sms/phonecalls do shown the contact name. I thought its was due to my contacts have a few phone number with them and the phone get confused but I do have contacts even with a few phone number , they did shown the contacts name as well. Don't really know whats the problem. I have tried to make that number as default but the contacts name still doesn't shown when this number has call/sms me.

maybe the same number is used by different contacts ?
this was a problem i had on 9210, the phone get confused and displays
the number of the caller/sender..

also, maybe you need to point a default phone number, for every contact

indeed i did hav duplicate number in 2 different contacts. After removed 1 of them, the name has shown. thks pal
