I realized that the data import from the 7650 to the 6600 is a DISASTER! Although most names were imported, most of the phone numbers and email addresses are missing! The contact notes are mostly there, but no thumbnails were transferred either! This was confirmed by other 6600 users, too! What should I do with almost 300 contacts with full details now? :confused:


Another problem I have is I cannot connect the phone with PC Suite at the home pc (it works ok at the office). I started having this problem quite suddenly a few months ago with the 7650 PC Suite. Look at those pics and tell me if you can figure anything out, it happens with both IR and BT! :(

what i did with my P800 & 3650 is sync seperately with its pc suite then i sync the 6600 with my address book

completes details, except the thumbnails habve been sync to my 6600.

the contacts with thumbnails, i resent it via bluetooth one by one

for the pc suite blues, your problem lies with the bluetooth software and nokia's Mroute. i suggest you use IR

Unfortunately, neither of the two PC Suites work as you can see in the pics above! And if you look at the second one, you'll realize the same happens when I use IR, so it cannot be the BT software's fault..

What's more, even if I could synchronize with Outlook (which would be done via PC suite IF it worked), Outlook discards some data! (e.g. many phone numbers of the same type, or email addresses!!!) It keeps as many as it supports and the rest are lost! :mad:
