I can't tranfer Midi ringtones to my 7650.

I need to be able to do it via PC Suite.

Can someone give me some suggestions other than sending yourself an e-mail attachment?

Thanks in advance.

I use Bluetooth on my PC, so it may be different. But basically once you have configured your BT on PC to talk to the 7650, just open up the 7650 "Public Folders" on your PC (accessible via the BT applciation), copy the MID files and VOILA! 7650 will says that you have 1 message.

Open the message and save the file. It is now available in BOTH the "Recorder" app. and the Ringtone under "Profiles".

The problem is that I have a Mac running VPC, a PC emulator. On top of the VPS I have installed Windows XP. PC Suite works perfectly, but the XP itself does not recognise my 7650. In other words, on the PC Suite can see the 7650.

I do not have a Bluetooth card, might be waste to buy one if it doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Can the 7650 be seen without using PC suite, I.e. pointing it's IR port at the computers IR port? If it's anything like the 9210 it should just come up as "EPOC" and you can send files directly to it that should appear in messaging.

I have no problems transferring midi or any other files to my 7650 using an infrared adapter from Tekram (IR-410) on the PC. I dont use the PC Suite from Nokia for this but the program of the infrared adapter - and it works fine.

Sending polyphonics is one thing ive got no probs doing with my TDK Bluetooth, dont even have to open up the public folder, just right click on the file and the option is there.
shame nothing works coming the other way !
