View Full Version : A920 on local BBC program.

Well I've just seen a piece on video phone mobiles on our local BBC news program Points West. 6th form students were using the A920 to make a videocall with a local MP.

I thought the quality of the phones pictures was quite poor. I've never been keen on the idea of people seeing me on the phone anyway and think videocalls are a bit of a red herring. I've always suspected their main use would be in the porn area. Mind you after seeing this demo I think the quality is far to jerkey even for that ;)

I think the main benefit of 3G is in good old fashioned data transfer. I hope 3 wake up to that fact and start opening up the device by removing restrictions on web access and 3rd party software.
