The P900 was the successor to the P800, opting for a separate electro-mechanical flip keypad. Although this can be argued to be a bad thing, potentially reducing reliability, the P900 has stood the test of time quite well, and the other improvements (UIQ 2.1, more memory, better applications) make the P900 a worthy follow-up.
