Notes
1. You username should be less than 9 letters.
2. Your username / nick may be taken - its a first come first served system on undernet.
3. You need to accept a certificate (a box should appear asking you to do this) in order for the applet to work.
4. When things get really busy - you'll find a dedicated IRC client (see main chat page) is probably easier to keep up with.
