Hello, im new to the 7650 AND this board, and have found it great help so far. I have searched and searched this and aother forums for the answe but cannot find or work this out...
If i connect with my ISP ( firenet ) on my 7650, will o2 still charge me? Bit confused and i didnt want to ask singlepoint as im sure they would say use o2s settings to get more money from me :)

The answer is yes, because you are using 02's mobile network to connect to your ISP.

Any data you transfer over GPRS is going through 02's network, you will be using your entitlement (or being billed for) the data you use.

If you are connected through the 02 CSD connection this will be counted as a data call any you will be billed at a data call rate. If you use your ISP's details, you may get away with it, but it depends if your operator charges data rates for all 0845 numbers for example. Basically give it a try, see if your ISP's data number comes up as a data call on your bill at the end of a month.
