I have a question, is there a solution to renaming programs in (EXTRA) or (OFFICE) ect ect??
If there is how it`s done.
and how can i open the ( .ini or different files)???

I don't have any experience with the OS version running on the 9210, but the following could be done with the previous version of this software.

Application information is stored in a file with the same name as the application and with a .aif extention. This file is store in the system directory in a folder called apps/appname. The aif file contains a field with the name of the application.

If the application that you want to change is not in ROM, then you can compile your own aif file and change information as you want to. You do need the correct tools from the sdk to do this.

Hopefully it is stil the same with the new version of the os. I can only answer that when my cd with the sdk gets here.

I'd love to do this too, and rename bits of the O/S if it were possible.
